Anyways, I'm not sure about you guys but I am going on MY Summer Holiday tomorrow, woohoo :) 

I am going with my parents driving & camping through Europe - from the Netherlands with as end destination Croatia. We will probably make some stops along the way in Switserland & Northern Italy. I can't wait to use my new camera to hopefully get some beautiful photo's. 

I will be on holidays for 4 1/2 weeks!

This does mean however that I will be missing in action from my blog for all this time! I will really miss it :(

I really hope you all have an AMAZING summer (or winter, wherever you are in this world) & see you in about 5 weeks!

YSL - Lingerie Pink

Back in June I was lucky to buy the well known YSL Rouge Volupte Lingerie Pink lipstick on a blog sale by the wonderful Charlotte at Lipglossing.com. This lipstick had been on my wish list for ages - after reading about it & seeing so many gorgeous images of it on my favourite blogs, I knew I had to have it! But the price tag in the shops always put me off a little. So this blog sale was perfect and I was able to score it at an awesome price - THANKS again Charlotte! Somehow it got "lost" in the mail we think, because it took just over a month to arrive in The Netherlands from the UK, crazy right? But anyways it arrived today and I am just so over the moon. 

For me the lipstick really lives up to its huge reputation! Super creamy with the most pigmented and glossy formula I have ever tried. See it swatched on my lips below! Lingerie Pink (#7) is a stunning light pink with blue undertones.

What I love about this lipstick too is that you can apply it lightly for a more neutral pink or if you apply it more heavily it becomes a very bright light toned pink. Me wearing my new awesome lippy below!

I am indeed officially in love ♥ May need to get some more of the Rouge Volupte lipsticks now (sorry bank account!) ;)

Maxi's!

I have found a new love; Maxi dresses! I have always loved the look of them on other people but I never thought they suited me (don't know why..) so I didn't own any. This holiday so far I have bought 3x and just think they are the perfect outfit for summer. Very breezy, comfortable and casual but still stylish! Here are two recent OOTD's wearing my Maxi's! ♥

The third maxi dress I got was just a very simple black jersey racer-back one from H&M. Which can perfectly be accessorized with different colour belts, scarfs and jewellery (as per this little polyvore set I created)

Another exciting purchase I wanted to tell you all about is my NEW CAMERA! The other day (after years of yearning for one) I finally spoiled myself & bought a DSLR Sony A330 :) I can't wait to learn how to use it haha and start taking beautiful pictures! 

Ps: Holland lost the World Cup Final 1-0 :(

I'm about to head into The Hague city centre to the pubs with my brother and his girlfriend to watch the World Cup Final between HOLLAND and Spain! Soooo nervous! I have my Dutch Football shirt on to support Orange! Hope we can win this, would be soooo amazing! Wish us luck :)

Oh how I am loving this amazing European Summer weather at the moment! It's a fab improvement from the cold & drab weather in Wellington, NZ! In the Netherlands it's been sunny and between 28-34 degrees the last few days. Which means time to bring out summer dresses or shorts. Love it! Here's my casual OOTD:

MAC Eyeshadow Haul

When I was in Abu Dhabi I went a little "crazy" at the MAC store. I was just so excited because MAC was so much cheaper than in NZ. For example an eyeshadow in NZ used to cost me around $32 and in Abu Dhabi it was only $20! So I ended up buying 7x new eyeshadows and a new empty 15 palette (now onto my 3rd palette!). It was so hard choosing which ones to get & I changed my mind many times but here are the shades I ended up getting :)

Ladies Night

Hi Ladies
On Monday night me and my friend went out in Abu Dhabi for "Ladies Night". It's crazy, many bars there will have a ladies night a certain evening and what does this mean...?? Free drinks for girls!! Champagne, wine or sometimes even cocktails. Arabian Nights $

Hello my Habibti! (is Arabic for "my love/darling as said to a girlfriend)

After about 48 hours delay due to a broken plane, I finally left Sydney and arrived in Abu Dhabi at 3am on Friday. My best friend Char was there to pick me up at the airport, she such a sweetheart! After catching up on some sleep and a nice lunch out in Abu Dhabi we headed off to Dubai for the weekend. Some of the things we got up to in Dubai:

- Watching The Netherlands beat Brazil 2-1 in the World Cup Quarter final.OMG OMG soooo happy & excited!

- Dinner at amazing Japanese Restaurant Okku

- Clubbing at the Cavalli Club (owned & designed by Roberto Cavalli)

- Visiting the Burj Khalifa (tallest building in the world)

- SHOPPING (will share some of my purchases soon) :)
