Kim K Inspired Silver & Bronze FOTD >

A few months ago I discovered this great tutorial on Kim Kardashian's website by her makeup artist Mario. He shows you how to re-create a similar look he did on Kim for a photo shoot for VEGAS magazine (below)

Since then I have re-created this makeup several times & it's a look that has become one of my favourites! The mix of silver and bronze is just stunning. This look can be worn at day time or smoked up with darker browns and bronzes for night time.

In the tutorial Mario uses Urban Decay e/s in Vapor (silver), Urban Decay e/s in Chopper (bronze),  MAC e/s in Cork  (light brown) & MAC e/s in embark (dark brown).  Since I don't own these eyshadows I improvise with my own collection. You can do the same with any silver, bronze and light & dark brown eye shadows you own!

CS 26 Palette - Light brown #2  (crease blended up to brow bone highlight)
CS 26 Palette - Dark brown #3  (to darken crease & lower lash line)

NOTD: Camouflage Colour in Skin

I was going through my nail polish collection the other day and found a little bottle hidden in the back of the cupboard. It was  a Natural Source Camouflage Colour Nail Lacquer  in the shade Skin. I still remember buying it at Sydney airport a few years back but don't think I ever used it much. I was in the mood for a more neutral nail so I decided to give this little one try.
The result:

I really like the colour of this polish, it reminds me of Revlon Nude Attitude lipstick but on your nails, but unfortunately application was difficult. The applicator handle was so hard to hold (due to shape and size) and therefore made it really tricky to apply the polish accurately. It took about 2 ½  coats to get a semi satisfactory application and the consistency was a bit tacky (perhaps this was just because the nail polish was old...) Their website also promises up to 7 days chip free. Well my nails started chipping on day 1! Very disappointing.

Maybe I need to look for a  better quality polish in a similar colour! :) Any suggestions?

Want perfect lower lash mascara coverage? It's as easy as blinking :)

How? After applying mascara to your top lashes, look straight ahead and hold your mascara horizontally across your bottom lashes and blink! (if necessary repeat a couple of times across your lash line)

I find this works perfectly for me every time!
