Hair Curling Tutorial

Whenever I wear my hair curled I usually get compliments & questions from people asking me how I do it so well on myself. I love my hair curly and being able to do it myself (in about 5-10 min) allows me to change my look & hairstyle regularly! Want to learn how?

Well...I finally got round to filming this hair tutorial so... TADA here it is! I really hope it helps the people that are looking to learn how to do this themselves. Please note that there are many different ways to use your straightening iron to curl hair, so I am not saying this is the best or only way...it's just the way I do it. In the end the best tip I can give you = practice! I didn't learn this 'skill' overnight myself, it took me lots of practice to perfect the art of curling haha.

I'm having a super lazy & relaxing Friday night in tonight in my PJ's! Can't wait for my guilty pleasure shows on TV this evening; ANTM, Making over America with Trinny & Susannah and Restaurant in our living room. Sometimes I find there is nothing better than just blobbing out on a Friday night! (Loser much? haha)

Best & Worst: MET Ball 2010

The yearly MET Ball was held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on May 3 in New York City.  Here are some of my Best & Worst picks of the evening.

Best

Naomi Watts & Liev Schreiber. Naomi in Stella McCartney.

Love the bright colour of the dress and amazing shoulder detail. 

The red lip also really suits the outfit.

Emmy Rossum in Kenneth Cole.
Gorgeous colour blue and beautiful makeup.

Marion Cotillard in Christian Dior.

Very old school Hollywood classic and glamorous. 

Mainly loved her hair and makeup! Flawless.

Kate Bosworth in Valentino.

Very glamorous and love the soft colours.

Emma Watson in Burberry.

Hair, makeup and dress all fabulous. 

Sienna Miller in Emillio Pucci.

Really liked this outfit because it's fun and different. 
Plus it fits her perfectly. 

And I LOVE the shoes, watch and make up!


Worst

Demi Moore in metallic Lanvin dress.
Something about this metallic dress just didn't do it for me.
Leighton Meester in floor-sweeping Marc Jacobs gown and clutch. 

Think the dress is pretty "drab" & what's up her make up? 

She looks super tired!

January Jones in Yves Saint Laurent.

The dress is cute but her eye makeup is a little too heavy for me. 

Think it almost looks like the mask of Zoro??

Carey Mulligan in Miu Miu dress.

Think the dress & tights look is not really appropriate for a ball..
