What I got for my birthday...

So a lot of you asked me what was in the little blue box that I featured in my French Manicure Shellac Nails post a few weeks back....well here it is, the new beautiful addition to my Tiffany & Co collection!

I'm wearing it every day at the moment with my other T&C bracelets.  Thanks mum and dad!! ♥

Here a selection of other presents that I got from my truly wonderful and generous friends...My friends know me too well.... a good bottle of bubbly always makes me a happy girl :)

I've got quite the delicious collection now after my party!! I love birthday cards ♥ These will remain on the mantlepiece for a while!Set of silver, gold and rose gold bangles 'LOVE' them hehe!

More Shellac Nails: French Manicure

After my last experience with Shellac (read here) I just couldn't wait to get my nails done again! Having perfectly manicured nails for two weeks is proving addictive already :)
This time I went for classic, elegant and timeless; a french manicure!

PS....can you guess what I am holding here???

I love the classic look of a french manicure and having this chip free for 2 weeks is just brilliant!

They used CND polishes in the shades 'beau' and 'studio white' for this manicure.

TADA......Yes I am indeed holding a little blue box from Tiffany & Co! LUCKY ME :)

Why? Well it's my birthday tomorrow and it is a bit of a yearly tradition to get some T&C goodness for my birthday. See previous presents here and here. This present is from my parents and I can't wait to open it tomorrow morning. I already know what it is but you will just have to wait until I show you later this week :) This item has been on my Tiffany's wish list for a while...what's on your list?

Spoiled Birthday Girl >

So it was my (27th) Birthday last week and I have to say, I was one spoiled Birthday Girl ♥
I had a lovely evening out with my friends on my actual birthday (birthday FOTD post and pictures to follow) plus had birthday celebrations continuing throughout the weekend with friends visiting from overseas! Wanted to share some of the amazing gifts I got for my birthday :) 

A gorgeous teal Longchamp bag! My sweet flatmates got this for me from Nice (France) and told me the bright blue colour was the colour of the season there! Which is fab because I love bright colours anyway - think this bag will come in very very handy! Plus now that I am the owner of a Longchamp bag I feel properly British ;)

LOL it just cracked me up so much!

Two of my besties from New Zealand (currently in London woop woop) got me some beautiful goodies from Chanel - they know me SO well ;) A lovely pink lipgloss and a Les 4 Ombres Palette in Mystic Eyes.
Of course a review and swatches post of these items will follow!

Plus also in this picture is a scarf I got from one of my friends. As you know, I am a big fan of stripes so this scarf is perfect for me and the mix of beige, pinks, purples and coral is just to die for.

My dear friend Lulu (who's featured quite a bit on this blog) came from Holland to London especially for my Birthday weekend, awwww ♥! She got me these funky stud crystal earrings from Swarovski. Such a cool black/granite/grey colour - gives them a cool edgy look while still pretty and sparkly. Love them :)

And last but not least - my annual Tiffany & Co present! You may remember that last year I also got some earrings from T&C (read the post here) and so this year I had already chosen which item I wanted from my (ever growing) lust list from my favourite shop in the world ;) My parents got me these beautiful silver ball earrings which I just adore. They come in 8mm and 10mm diameter and I chose the bigger version because think it makes them pop a little more! Thanks mum & dad :)

Bday Memories & a little blue box!

During the summer holidays (on 4 August to be exact) it was my birthday! What age you ask? Ok ok, I'll tell you, I turned 26 years old :) Sigh the years are just flying by. Anyways, I spend the day with my parents in Bologna, Italy. We had a lovely time exploring the old city sights, shopping and eating delicious Italian food! Because my birthday always fell right bang in the middle of the European Summer holidays whilst growing up, my parents never bought me a birthday present ahead of time. I always just found things I wanted (like those stupid gimmicky items street people sell....) and then my parents would buy them for me and say, ok this is for your birthday! So again while on holiday with them this year, they hadn't bought me a present (saves lugging it around with you while traveling) and they said, during the holiday we'll just find something you like! So then it came to my birthday and we hadn't found me a present! LOL think it's because I am now at the mature age (pfff) of no longer wanting silly touristy or gimmicky stuff and any shopping, like clothes, I just paid for out of my own pocket.

However, one of my (every year) birthday present wishes is something new from Tiffany & Co...to expand my lovely little collection. (For example last year I ended up buying myself a present from there, I mean a single girl can spoil herself on her birthday right?) There is an ever growing lust list in my head from Tiffany & Co and I had talked to my parents & we'd said that when we'd return from holiday we'd look for a present for me from my all time favourite shop (T&C). However, whilst browsing the shops in Bologna, what did we all of a sudden stumble across? YES a Tiffany & Co store! Sooo my mum and dad were the sweetest and bought me these earrings that I have wanted for years!! Thought I would show them to you, I love love them so much! ♥ Then again think I love everything that comes in a little blue box! ;)
