Something blue...

When I was out shopping in Paris I spotted something amazing and blue in a little shop on Rue Montorgueil. And as much as I tried to resist it..the urge to own this bit of blue arm candy was just too strong! The size, the colour; I just loved it! Because the bag is not made of real leather it wasn’t too expensive and set me back about €50 which I think was well worth it.

I took these pictures of my new bag when I was in Italy earlier this month…


The bag comes with a removable inner padded smaller bag (plus seperate strap) that has compartments and zips for phone, lipgloss and any other handbag essentails. So bascially it's two bags for the price of one!

Its gorgeous blue colour definitely brightens my day when I have it with me!

Seriously lusting after LK Bennett Crocus Bag

I’ve completely falling in love with these gorgeous L.K. Bennett Crocus Bags! They're available in a range of stunning shades from black pink, citrus yellow and nude.

 But I think especially the aqua blue one has my name written all over it!!

Unfortunately at £245 each they're a bit out of my budget at the moment.

Maybe I should start saving? Or anyone feeling generous; gifts are always welcome ;) xoxo

Ginatricot shopping purchases from Oslo

Even though Oslo is a pretty expensive country (food and drink especially!) I did manage to squeeze in a wee bit of shopping. Yes.....I just couldn't help myself. Last time I was in Oslo I loved the shop Ginatricot, where I bought my lovely 'picnic blanket' tartan poncho. So in Oslo, visiting the Ginatricot store was definitely on my list of things to do :)
My main purchase was this black bag!  I just love it....

More on the bag later but first here my outfit of the day last weekend with my new Ginatricot purchases:

This jumper/top was all over the posters in the store and they had it in white, cobalt blue, lilac, pastel pink, white and black and it did take me a while to decide which colour to get! I was umming and ahhing between beige and lilac! My mum actually bought it in the cobalt blue colour which is also stunning!

I picked up these wedge boots at ZARA while I was in Berlin over New Years and I absolutely LOVE them!
I have worn these a lot the last few months. They are suede, high knee and the wedges means they are heels but super comfortable. 

I knew I had to have these boots when I saw them on this blog here and here.

BTW definitely check out Caroline's awesome fashion blog 'Fash n Chips' - I just adore her style!!

And here some more pictures of the bag from Ginatricot. I wasn't really looking for a new bag but something about this bag just caught my eye. It's the perfect in between size; aka not-too-small-not-too-big! I love the silver zip detailing and lots of handy pockets. Also its detachable long strap means you can swing it around your shoulders when it gets heavy or you have to walk a long distance.

For me it is the perfect every day bag and for that price tag you are not too worried about it getting dirty or damaged which means you can take it with you every where you go stress-free :)

Had you heard of Ginatricot before? I really wish they would allow online shopping and worldwide shipping because it's a bit like a better primark, cheap as chips but full of great fashion finds! xoxo

Spoiled Birthday Girl >

So it was my (27th) Birthday last week and I have to say, I was one spoiled Birthday Girl ♥
I had a lovely evening out with my friends on my actual birthday (birthday FOTD post and pictures to follow) plus had birthday celebrations continuing throughout the weekend with friends visiting from overseas! Wanted to share some of the amazing gifts I got for my birthday :) 

A gorgeous teal Longchamp bag! My sweet flatmates got this for me from Nice (France) and told me the bright blue colour was the colour of the season there! Which is fab because I love bright colours anyway - think this bag will come in very very handy! Plus now that I am the owner of a Longchamp bag I feel properly British ;)

LOL it just cracked me up so much!

Two of my besties from New Zealand (currently in London woop woop) got me some beautiful goodies from Chanel - they know me SO well ;) A lovely pink lipgloss and a Les 4 Ombres Palette in Mystic Eyes.
Of course a review and swatches post of these items will follow!

Plus also in this picture is a scarf I got from one of my friends. As you know, I am a big fan of stripes so this scarf is perfect for me and the mix of beige, pinks, purples and coral is just to die for.

My dear friend Lulu (who's featured quite a bit on this blog) came from Holland to London especially for my Birthday weekend, awwww ♥! She got me these funky stud crystal earrings from Swarovski. Such a cool black/granite/grey colour - gives them a cool edgy look while still pretty and sparkly. Love them :)

And last but not least - my annual Tiffany & Co present! You may remember that last year I also got some earrings from T&C (read the post here) and so this year I had already chosen which item I wanted from my (ever growing) lust list from my favourite shop in the world ;) My parents got me these beautiful silver ball earrings which I just adore. They come in 8mm and 10mm diameter and I chose the bigger version because think it makes them pop a little more! Thanks mum & dad :)

So that was a selection of my birthday gifts; am I a lucky girl or what!?

My very 1st ASOS purchase!

When I was in London I met up with a gorgeous girlfriend of mine. And while we were having drinks & dinner I just couldn't stop checking out and admiring her GORGEOUS handbag. I just loved it.
She told me it was an ASOS purchase & at the pretty small cost of only £29, I could hardly believe it because it looked so expensive and fabulous! So...I will be honest....I ended up going to ASOS.com & finding the bag...and then I couldn't resist the "add to Bag" button! Sorry my dear Kate, I admit it, I am a complete copycat! But I hope you can see it as a compliment, because you are SO super stylish :) ♥

This was my first ever ASOS purchase & I was so excited when it arrived! Gosh online shopping is so much fun! Lo and behold here it is my beautiful new bag:
